Westbury House and Gardens are open every weekend from April 11th, and every day EXCEPT TUESDAYS, from April 27th to October 31st, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm (the House will open at 11:00 am), with the last vehicle being allowed onto the property at 4:00 pm.

Poetica MusicaPoetica Musica: Jeux d'Amour 6:45 pm  Works will feature the Violin Sonata, No 1 (Posthume) by Maurice Ravel , Concertino for Flute, Opus 107 by Cécile Chaminade, Jeux d”Eau for solo piano also by Ravel and Libertango by Astor Piazzolla.

Participating artists include Molly Morkoski, piano, Jessica Han, flute, Cyrus Beroukhim, violin,
Oren Fader, guitar and Eleanor Valkenburg, soprano.

Dog Days: Special Early Spring Weekend (Two-legged) Admission: $10.00 General; $8.00 Seniors (over 62), $5.00 Children 7-17; 6 and under, Old Westbury Gardens members, and leashed dogs: Free. Bring your leashed dog for an invigorating walk and healthy exercise in designated garden areas. Meet fellow dog lovers in a beautiful environment. Dog must be leashed.

Dog Exhibitors and Vendors 11:00 am - 4:00 pm View exhibits from rescue groups and animal welfare organizations.

Taste of SpringTaste of Spring 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Join Gardens members, new and old, for our annual member appreciation event with a sampling of appetizers, entrees, desserts and wines provided by some of Long Island's finest restaurants, caterers and wineries. A members only event.  Tickets are $40.00 per person if purchased by April 11th and $50.00  at the door.

SaraAdult Workshop: Renew, Replenish, Reconnect- Sunset Poetry Walk 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Nature has long inspired a poetic connection between our outdoor experience and the written word.

Join Sara Rempe, Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing at Hunter College, on an interactive walk that examines this concept in our autumnal Gardens setting.

Selected readings will pair with the landscape to inspire participants to create their own texts on site. No previous poetry-writing experience necessary.

Talk & Tours: Spring Tree Walk 2:00 pm Celebrate Arbor Day with a tour of the Gardens’ tree collection led by volunteer docent and Master Gardener Gene Lanzaro.  Free with admission.
