multi-talented musicians playing music from the Classic Rock genre of the 1960’s.

educator-led thematic tours and activities with Winnie
the Pooh and Some Bees. Follow the antics of a curious bear on his quest for a
honey treat and learn how bees work with our horticulture team to make beautiful
gardens for you to enjoy. Craft a bee buzzer to entice bees to visit your own
backyard.
Kids and Family Programs:
Bat Walk 7:00 pm Bat biologist Rachel Bricklin from Fordham
University will lead a walk through the Gardens to listen and look for bats
while she discusses bat ecology and conservation (rain date August
6) .

Cross Island: Cello & Keys - Suzanne Mueller and pianist Elinor Abrams Zayas

Harlem Renaissance Orchestra -
We chose the name Harlem Renaissance Orchestra because it is the
residence and birth place of several of our members. The word
renaissance means rebirth or revival and our mission is to revive
the music of the Big Band Era and to preserve this music in its
living form by giving recognition to some of its leading figures:
Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Pops Louie Armstrong, Benny Goodman,
Lucky Millinder, Earl Fatha Hines, Billy
Eckstine, Lionel Hampton and many others. |

Louis,
Louis, & Louis - The Prima "Big Night" Band is a band
dedicated to the music of Louis Prima and two of his influences,
Louis Armstrong and Louis Jordan! Born in New Orleans, Prima was
raised on the same Dixieland influences that created Armstrong's
infectious style, jazz improvisation, a wild sense of humor and scat
singing that just never stops! Prima's genius was bringing
Italian San Remo style music to the mix. |
