Kids and Family Programs: Natural Mask Making 12:00 pm Whether fearsome or friendly, children will love the tricks and treats of Halloween mask making at the Gardens. Join us for an afternoon of hands-on dastardly delight when we will create wearable art from natural materials. Ideal for kindergarten and up.

Dog must be leashed.

Fall Dog Festival 11:00 am - 4:00 pm The festival features games, agility demonstrations and exhibits by animal welfare organizations. Dog Costume contest and parade at 3:00 pm.
Mythology Discovery Tour: Session I 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm The interior furnishings and exterior hardscape are history and connect us to historical references both real and imagined. Learn about ancient mythology from the Green, Roman and Celtic cultures with docent and educator Gene Lanzaro.  Session II, Sunday, October 30.  Advance registration required since space is limited, please call (516) 333-0048 Ext. 301.  $15.00 per session; $5.00 Members. ($25 for both, includes admission to the house and gardens).
