Hours of Operation Westbury House and Gardens are open every weekend from April 6th, and every day EXCEPT TUESDAYS, from April 29th to October 31st, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm (the House will open at 11:00 am), with the last vehicle being allowed onto the property at 4:00 pm.

Blue Star Museums is a program that offers free admission to Old Westbury Gardens for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Present a non-expired Bank of America ATM, debit or credit card for free general admission on the first weekend of each month, May-Dec (see below for restrictions).
Discounted or Complimentary Admission Please note that with the use of Entertainment.com coupons, Bank of America cards, or any other form of discounted or complimentary admission, the following policy is followed:

We will honor the discount for daytime general admission to the house and grounds, on any day that we are open within the period expressed in the respective discount program, except as follows: We will not honor the discount for evening events, for any event or program for which pre-registration or advanced tickets are required, for events for which additional fees other than general admission are otherwise charged, or for any events for which the general admission to Old Westbury Gardens is higher than would normally be the case. Some of the Entertainment.com coupons may indicate Valid Anytime. This is interpreted as meaning to be valid anytime the visitor would be paying regular admission to the house and grounds if not for the coupon.

Guided Tours While guests are invited to tour the house and stroll the gardens at their leisure, Old Westbury Gardens Volunteers provide daily tours of Westbury House on the hour and the half-hour (based upon Volunteer availability), and of the gardens on every day we are open except Sunday at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm (Sunday Garden Tours are at 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm). Guided tours last approximately 45 minutes.  House tours meet at the reception desk and garden tours meet at the West Porch Beech Tree.

Self-guided tours visitor brochures are available in English, French, German and Spanish.
Accessibility The first floor of Westbury House is accessible to people with disabilities. The unpaved gravel pathways through the gardens are not wheelchair accessible. Special parking is available for guests with state-issued handicap parking permits.

Guests should furnish their own wheelchairs and strollers. Strollers are not permitted in Westbury House.
Photography Photography and video recording without a tripod are permitted in the gardens for private use only. No photography (flash or non-flash) or video recording are permitted inside Westbury House.

Rules for Visitors So that all may enjoy their visit to Old Westbury Gardens and to preserve its beauty and charm for future generations, please follow the Gardens' rules to protect the plants, the collections and our visitors.

Food is permitted only in designated areas: at the Cafe in the Woods and the picnic area. Fires are not permitted. Do not feed the geese or any other wild bird or animal. Do not pick flowers, walk in flower beds or climb trees. Defacing trees and other plants can lead to their disease and death. Do not carve the trees.

Use of radio, tape can CD players with earphones only. No sports activities (e.g., ball playing, frisbee tossing, biking, roller blading, jogging, kite flying). Pets are not permitted, except assistance dogs. Strollers, large bags and backpacks are not permitted in Westbury House. Digital Printing
