Westbury House and Gardens are open every day EXCEPT TUESDAYS from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm (the House will open at 11:00 am), with the last vehicle being allowed onto the property at 4:00 pm.

Plant SaleSpring Plant Sale and Gardening Weekend 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Purchase select annuals and perennials, including the Gardens' signature varieties.  Not sure what plants are right for your landscape?  Gardens' horticulturists along with members of various plant societies and Cornell Cooperative Extension Nassau County Master Gardeners will be on hand to help you select the right plants and answer your questions.

Soil Testing 10:00  am - 3:00 pm Bring ½ cup of dry soil and have it tested by Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension Nassau County.

Julian RoseArbor Day Tree Dedication Ceremony 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Join family and friends who have contributed to the Tree Fund to dedicate a series of trees in memory or in honor of loved ones.  An annual Arbor Day tradition.  Rain or Shine.

Talk & Tour: Spring Tree Walk 2:00 pm Celebrate Arbor Day with a tour of the Gardens’ tree collection led by volunteer docent and Master Gardener Gene Lanzaro.  Free with admission.

Long Island Flute Club Spring Recital 3:00 pm The Long Island Flute Club presents Julian Rose, flute, and Eun-Kyung Lee-Sullivan, piano, in a performance of classic works for flute and piano. Free with admission.

Mothers' Day - Open to the Public 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Honor Mom on her special day with a visit to the Gardens. All women, 18 and older will receive a complimentary lavender plant (while supply lasts).

Due to the number of visitors on Mother’s Day handicapped parking is not available at Westbury House or by the Walled Garden. A golf cart shuttle will operate throughout the day between the parking field, Westbury House, and the Walled Garden.
