A Bridgerton-Inspired Dance: Learn the Steps of the 'Ton

Dearest Gentle Reader...learn to dance like Simon and Daphne!  Join us for an hour of grace and merriment as we learn some of the dances from the Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte television series!  No experience is necessary and no partner is needed, as our instructor Susan de Guardiola will guide you through easy choreographies inspired from the television series and talk about how the Bridgerton dances differ from the dances of the actual Regency/Jane Austen era.

Susan de Guardiola is an independent scholar in social dance history
and dance teacher and caller based in New Haven, Connecticut.  She
specializes in the dance of the early 19th century - the era of Jane
Austen, Napoleon, Hamilton, and the Bridgerton TV series.  She has
taught early 19th century dance across the USA as well as in the UK
and across Europe.  She loves to introduce new people both to
historical dancing and to the fascinating history and people behind
it, and loves to play with dance the way Bridgerton plays with
