Fall wouldn’t be quite the same without a garden full of scarecrows—and they’re making their return to Old Westbury Gardens! Whether your creation is charming, clever, whimsical, or wonderfully weird, we want to see what you come up with.
Bring your best scarecrow to the Gardens October 1st and enter for a chance to win a one-year OWG membership and a curated gift basket! Then come back throughout the month to see all the creative entries on display!
Clase de bisutería: Pendientes de girasol
¡Descubre la belleza y el significado de los girasoles mientras creas tus propios pendientes de girasol con cuentas! Este taller práctico te guiará a través de los fundamentos de la joyería mientras diseñas un par único para llevarte a casa y disfrutar.

Clase de pintura de 2 horas de Seasonal Sips
Join us for a relaxing, step-by-step painting experience as you create your season inspired masterpiece. Seasonal non-alcoholic refreshments will be served while you paint. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled, and dress for a creative (and possibly messy) time. No experience is necessary, come with your friends and have fun!
All participants will receive a canvas and all supplies needed for the program will be provided for use during the session.

Join us for a festive family activity! Head to the Barn at Orchard Hill any time between 4:00 and 5:00 to decorate your own mini pumpkin. All supplies provided—just bring your creativity! All children require an adult participant. All ticket holders will receive a mini pumpkin to decorate!

Come along with us to learn about Found-Object Art! Learn about artists like David M. Bird y Raku Inoue who use bits and pieces of nature in order to create extraordinary art!
Then, join us on our crisp, fall stroll through the gardens, where we will collect found objects, to use in our own art creations! All materials will be provided by the education department and nature, itself!
All children require an adult participant.
