Join dance historian and teacher Susan de Guardiola to learn to dance to the famous 1920s waltz tune played at Gatsby’s party!  This beginner-friendly class will teach you a simple 1920s-style “hesitation waltz” interspersed with historical tidbits about this romantic and melancholy tune and the social dance of the early 1920s. No partner is needed and no experience is necessary!

About the Instructor: Susan de Guardiola is a dance historian and teacher specializing in the early 19th-century social dance. She’s taught across the U.S. and Europe and brings a delightful blend of history, storytelling, and movement to every class.
