Celebrate one of the last major events of the season at Old Westbury Gardens with our Fall “DOG DAYS” Weekend! This cherished tradition invites you and your leashed pup to enjoy the gardens together all weekend long.
On Sunday, October 26, the excitement continues with our Fall Dog Parade & Costume Contest, where pups can strut their stuff and compete for prizes in categories like Best Overall and Funniest.
Join us for a weekend full of fun, fresh air, and furry friends!
LEASH & STROLL: Walk the Gardens with Your Dog!
On Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th, visitors may bring their leashed dogs to stroll the gardens. Leashed dogs are permitted throughout the gardens except in the Walled Garden.

FALL DOG PARADE & COSTUME CONTEST!

As part of our celebration of everyone’s best friend this Dog Days Weekend, we are pleased to once again host the 가을 개 퍼레이드 및 의상 경연 대회, a fun and anticipated yearly event where pooches (and their parents) get to strut their stuff for a chance to win prizes! The contest begins at 3pm on Sunday, 10/26. 의상 경연대회 참가자는 오후 2시까지 지도 스탠드에 등록해야 합니다.

Members or visitors using valid library passes do not need to make reservations. Remember, visitors may bring their leashed dogs to stroll the gardens on this day. Leashed dogs are permitted throughout the gardens except in the Walled Garden.
