
Music for a Sunday Afternoon
We are pleased to announce the 2025 season of the Music for a Sunday Afternoon concert series, with Artist-in-Residence cellist Suzanne Mueller in concert with a roster of performers spanning Classical, Jazz, and Folk styles.
ALL CONCERTS ARE:
Sunday at 3:00 p.m. and will be held on the lawn at The Barn (bring a lawn chair or blanket), or inside the Barn in case of inclement weather or extreme heat.
Included with admission and reservations are not required.
Dedicated to the memory of pianist, cellist, horsewoman, and inspiration Eleanor Mueller.

Hungrytown
July 6, 3:00 – 4:00pm
A Gardens favorite, the husband-and-wife folk duo Hungrytown – Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, joined by cellist Suzanne Mueller – Opens the series with a program of their original music blending traditional and modern influences.

CROSS ISLAND
July 13, 3:00 – 4:00pm
The second concert welcomes back CROSS ISLAND—Clarinetist Joseph Rutkowski, cellist Suzanne Mueller, and pianist Elinor Abrams Zayas in a comprising duets and trios spanning centuries and styles, seamlessly blending beloved favorites and intriguing discoveries.

The McCarron Brothers (& Sister)
July 20, 3:00 – 4:00pm
In another Gardens tradition, The McCarron Bros. jazz quartet – Saxophonist Paul Carlon, guitarist Mark McCarron, bassist Trifon Dimitrov, and drummer Eric Halvorson – return to perform their original tunes and unique arrangements in an atmospheric blend of diverse idioms, styles, and genres together with honorary McCarron Sis cellist Suzanne Mueller, who is featured on their 2023 album, Before All This.

Cambiata Cello Duo
