Old Westbury Gardens Summer Sessions offer young artists, explorers, and investigative thinkers the opportunity to experience the outdoors amongst over 200 acres of formal Gardens and informal woodlands. What excitement awaits this year? Check out four weeks of summertime fun this season.


Fresh Takes STEAM Natural Art Camp
Monday, July 15- Friday, July 19, 9AM- Noon

This program, tailored for ages 6-9, focuses on the art-making process as inspired by the natural world.  Artists explore a variety of traditional and lesser-known methods like drawing and painting, printmaking, mixed media, and more in a safe and fun outdoor setting.  Open to all levels of experience with an enthusiasm for art.   

$300 per child. Members receive a 20% discount

Explore, Engineer, Energize!

Water Works STEM Camp
Monday, July 22 - Friday, July 26, 9AM- Noon

This program, tailored for ages 6-9, focuses on nature’s most crucial resource: water. Scientists get their feet (and hands and heads!) wet while learning how water touches every aspect of our Long Island lives. Daily themes from habitats to cycles to conservation will inspire fun crafts, games, and hands-on activities to enhance each day's discoveries. Dress to get wet!

Decade Detectives! Investigation Camp
Monday, July 29-Friday, August 2, 9AM-Noon

This program, tailored for ages 6-9, encourages campers to get clued into history’s mysteries! A week-long hunt leads gumshoes through evidence exploration to solve a Phipps family whodunit. Games, artifact discoveries, and behind-the-scenes explorations bring the past to life over five investigative “yester” days.
