2026 Mary S. Phipps Luncheon for Education

We are proud to present the second annual Mary S. Phipps Luncheon for Education, graciously chaired by Gigi Sheldon. The luncheon honors Mary’s remarkable legacy of service and lifelong commitment to learning while supporting educational programs at Old Westbury Gardens. Each year, thousands of children come to the Gardens to discover history, art, nature, and horticulture through meaningful experiences beyond the classroom.

This year’s luncheon will be especially memorable as we celebrate the publication of Old Westbury Gardens: Days of Grace on Long Island. We are honored to welcome author Clive Aslet and photographer Dylan Thomas, who will share the inspiration behind this beautiful new volume and its celebration of the Gardens’ history and enduring spirit.
