Meet the Artist: John Clement

Meet sculptor John Clement, whose exhibition In Situ: The Works of John Clement is currently on view at Old Westbury Gardens. Clement will be outside near the Thatched Cottage area, where the artwork is concentrated, to speak with visitors and share insights into his creative process.

A New York–based artist, Clement is known for transforming industrial steel and aluminum into bold, curving forms that seem to dance with energy and movement. His brightly painted sculptures—ranging from intimate pieces to monumental public works—invite viewers to experience steel and aluminum as both powerful and surprisingly graceful.

In Situ: The Works of John Clement is presented in association with the Leila Heller Gallery and will remain on view through October 31.
