61st Annual Long Island Scottish Festival and Highland Games!

With bagpipes, caber tossing, concerts, food, and kids’ games, the 61st Annual Long Island Scottish Festival and Highland Games is back and a perfect day out for everyone! Pipe bands will perform throughout the day. 42nd Royal Highland Regiment, Scottish dog breeds, pony rides, a petting zoo, birds of prey, falconry, raffles for wonderful prizes and much more will be happening around the grounds for everyone in the family to enjoy.

The day’s festival Entertainment will include the following listed here and more:

  • Albannach (direct from Scotland and back by popular demand!)

  • Bangers and Mash (from Brooklyn)

  • Cameron Music Ensemble

  • Charlie Zahn

  • Spinning Ladies

  • Children’s Face Painting

  • Moon Bounce

Competitions throughout the day will include:

  • Caber Toss

  • Tossing the Sheaf & Putting the Stone

  • Children’s Races

  • Children’s Tug O’ War

  • Shortbread Contests

  • Antique British Automobiles

Festival Vendors will include:

  • Scottish/Celtic products & novelties

  • Fish & Chips

  • Scottish Pies

  • Sausage Rolls

  • Scottish Woolen and Tartan Goods

  • Wild Bills Soda

Early Bird Tickets (purchase BEFORE 8/24), are available NOW at 20% off prices listed below:

  • Day of Admission Tickets: $25; Ages 62 and above $22; Ages 7-17 $12

  • Please note that this is a “special event” and special event admission is charged this day for ALL visitors.

  • Old Westbury Gardens members and Library Pass holders must pay a reduced admission fee of $12. Member and Library Pass holders’ tickets are sold on the day of the event. Complimentary passes are not accepted.

  • Members may purchase tickets in advance and save time.

  • Auxiliary parking at Westbury High School.
