Artists explore a variety of traditional and lesser-known methods like drawing and painting, printmaking, mixed media and more, in a safe and fun outdoor setting. Gabriel Willow, a NYC-based urban naturalist and environmental educator, will lead a walk through the gardens to listen and look for bats while discussing bat ecology and conservation. All ages.

Scientists get their feet (and hands and heads!) wet while learning how water touches every aspect of our Long Island lives. Daily themes from habitats to cycles to conservation will inspire fun crafts, games, and hands-on activities to enhance each day's discoveries. Dress to get wet!

A week-long hunt leads gumshoes through evidence exploration to solve a Phipps family whodunit. Games, artifact discoveries and behind the scenes explorations bring the past to life over five investigative “yester”days.

Join us for this family program, tailored for children ages 12 and under with adult caregivers in attendance. A Cream Tea service for two (or more!) with a basic lesson on manners and tea etiquette will culminate in a guided springtime Gardens walk.
